My story

Hi, I'm Craig.

I spent 12 years at JLR. Good job, good people, but I always knew I wanted to build something that was mine. Auto-Glo started as evenings and weekends alongside the full-time job — I ran it like that for about two and a half years before I finally took the leap and went full time. Best decision I've ever made.

Why detailing? Honestly, because I was never happy with what was on offer locally. Watching people's pride and joy come back from a roadside hand wash covered in swirl marks, hosed off with dirty water and harsh chemicals — it just wound me up. I knew there was a better way, and I knew I could treat people's cars like I'd treat my own.

To do it properly I trained alongside Sean from McCartney Valeting & Detailing — a guy who's been at this a long time and doesn't cut corners. Three years in, that grounding still shapes every job I take on, from a £50 safe wash up to a full multi-stage correction with a 7-year ceramic coating.

What drives me

The honest answer? Three things. First — the reaction. The look on someone's face when they see their car back to factory fresh, or better than the day they collected it, never gets old. Second — my family. I've got a young son, and the whole reason I went all-in on Auto-Glo was to build a better life for them, and to build something he can one day be proud of. Third — pride in the craft. I genuinely love this work.

I work on everything. Daily drivers, family SUVs, modified hot hatches, brand-new collections, weekend supercars. The car doesn't change the standard — every single one gets the same prep, the same products, the same attention to detail. If you genuinely care about your car, we'll get on.

Auto-Glo is fully mobile — I come to your home or your office, set up on your driveway, and do the work while you carry on with your day. No dropping the car off, no waiting around in a freezing reception, no rushing to pick it up before close. Booking only, at a time and place that suits you.

What I believe

• Honest advice beats a quick sale every time. If you don't need the £700 correction, I'll tell you.
• No hidden charges. The price I quote is the price you pay.
• Roadside hand washes cost people thousands in long-term paint damage. There's a better way.
• A £50k car deserves the same care as a £150k one. So does a £5k one if it's yours and you love it.
• Word of mouth is everything. If I'm not first-class, I don't have a business.

The legacy

I want Auto-Glo to be known across Warwickshire as the detailer you can trust — honest, first-class work, no jargon, no nonsense. A name people recommend without a second thought. That's the plan, and that's what every booking is building toward.
